Tytus and Megator were originally designed for “Powers of Grayskull”, an unreleased spin off of the MOTU toy line, which aimed at reviving the interest for the franchise and explore prehistoric Eternia. Indeed, the project began with “The Powers of Grayskull: The Legend Begins!”, one of the last mini-comics of the original run. In that story He-Man and the Sorceress transport back in time and meet the Snakemen. While exploring the past, the Sorceress mentions a certain Land of the Giants, anticipating the appearance of the two tytans. Unfortunately, the project never came to life and only a few action figures were produced. Among these, Tytus and Megator were the most intriguing ones but, being released in Europe only, they remained out of the main narrative.
Masters of the Universe Tytus: the Good Giant
Tytus was a giant warrior siding the forces of good. He was contemporary to King Grayskull, back in the days when the Snakemen threatened ancient Eternia. In fact, the original artwork of his box depicts him fighting King-Hiss alongside He-Ro.
The action figure was massive, measuring almost 40 cm in height. Entirely made of plastic, he almost looked like a giant He-Man, mainly because of his armor. He also wore a crown, which contribute to boost the barbarian look, just like He-Man.
However, at a closer look, it appeared completely different from any other character in the line. In fact, he had long natural hair and a huge body snatch weapon, which allowed him to grab the other figures with just one hand. Head rotation, eventually following the arm movements, emphasized this feature and added dynamism to the figure in full MOTU style.

On the opposite side, Megator was a scary monster of the same size. Like Tytus, he belonged to the the ancient age of Eternia and he was part of the villains who menaced the planet in King Grayskull times.
He featured green skin and long black hair, and we can easily say his face was not a friendly one. His weapon was a big spiked ball and he wore a brown armor with a skull in the center.
Like the good counterpart, the figure featured a special mechanism, which allowed him to move his leg and strike powerful kicks. This feature also represented in the original box artwork, which was similar to Tytus, though different in colors.
